Silence around addiction is incredibly common for those of us on the sidelines. It is our protection, a demonstation of our love and loyalty, and eventually a destructive force. Most of us can’t see the destructive qualities of our silence until we are past the trauma, whether that is through sobriety or the end of the addictive relationship. I speak to KL Wells about my perspective on my own silence. A perspective that has changed a great deal over the past few years now that I’m post trauma.
